Roofer
We are currently accepting applications for Roofers.
Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland, Surrey.
Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar field in the building trades.
Language: Basic English is required
Wage Rate: $27.00/hr. 40hrs/week.
Roofers are expected to perform some or all of the following duties:
- Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems
- Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elasticize, or other asphalt compositions
- Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs • May estimate materials required and quote costs.
Essential Skills: Working in a team setting and problem-solving.
Work Setting: The candidate should be able to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends if required.
Work Conditions: The job is physically demanding, (able to lift weight 100lbs), able to work on heights. Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rains, or shine. Leave an email and phone number to apply for this position.
